This question reaches far beyond theological debate. At its heart are deeper concerns about identity, belonging, dignity, and the nature of God’s love. Many who ask it are not trying to avoid faithfulness. They are trying to understand whether the God who created them also asks them to reject themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over time, these experiences naturally raise important questions about fruit. If a particular path consistently produces fear, exhaustion, and fragmentation, it is reasonable to ask whether it is leading towards the kind of life God desires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wholeness offers a different possibility. Rather than requiring people to hide from themselves, it creates space for honesty, authenticity, and deeper engagement with faith. From that place, a person can approach God openly, without feeling compelled to leave parts of themselves behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking at the Life of Jesus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ministry of Jesus repeatedly moves people towards restoration. Those who encounter him are not diminished or reduced. Instead, they are healed, strengthened, and welcomed back into community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Goal of Christian Maturity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Christian maturity is not about becoming someone else. Its purpose is to help people grow into the fullest expression of who God created them to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As faith deepens, love becomes more expansive, wisdom develops through experience, and compassion grows. Relationships often become healthier, while trust in God becomes more grounded and resilient. These changes reflect growth, but they do not require the abandonment of a person’s identity or humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Testament consistently presents spiritual development as a process of transformation that brings greater life and freedom. Rather than shrinking the self, God’s work enlarges a person’s capacity to love, serve, and flourish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
