Let’s Talk

There are questions many of us have carried quietly for a long time. Questions about scripture, about belonging, about whether we really fit inside the story we were handed. Some of them feel small and practical. Others feel huge and deeply personal. Most of them deserve space.

The Rainbow Christian Hub subreddit is simply that, a space.

It is not a place for polished arguments or theological point scoring. It is a conversation that will grow over time, shaped by the people who show up. You can ask something that has been bothering you for years, respond to someone else’s reflection, share a resource that helped you, or just read and take it in until you feel ready to speak.

We know how isolating faith can feel when you are LGBTIQ and Christian. Too often the loudest voices have not been the most loving ones. This space exists to shift that tone. Here, the assumption is not that you are broken or in need of fixing. The assumption is that you are already loved.

There will be different perspectives. There will be learning. There may even be moments of disagreement. What matters is that we approach each other with respect, humility, and a shared commitment to keeping love at the centre.

If you have something to ask, say it.
If you have something to offer, share it.
If you just need to know you are not alone, you are not.

The conversation is open.

The Rainbow Christian Hub subreddit is our home base, but it is not the only place where good conversations are happening.

This page is where we will collect links to other subreddits that may be helpful, thoughtful, or simply make you feel a little less alone. Some spaces lean more into theology, others into deconstruction, community support, mental health, or everyday life as an LGBTIQ person of faith. Not every space will be perfect, and you will not agree with everything you read, but you might find language for something you have been trying to name, or people who get it without you having to explain.

We will add to this list over time as we find communities that feel genuinely worthwhile.

A quick note before you dive in: each subreddit has its own culture, rules, and moderation style. Take a moment to read the pinned posts, protect your peace when you need to, and remember you are allowed to leave any space that feels harmful or draining.

If you know a subreddit that belongs here, share it with us. We are building this resource together.
